After some time off from Prospect Series action, Ontario Racing is back with its weekly news and notes recap of the of Prospect Series action from the prior week.
There was a lone leg of Prospect Series action this week, with a three-year-old trotting fillies racing in two divisions at Grand River Raceway on June 29.
Jandals Picks Up Second Prospect Series Win
Jandals (Muscle Mass–Aunt Lottie) won her second Prospect Series division of the season. Scott Coulter drove the Susanne Kerwood trainee to her fifth on the board finish in nine starts this season for Acton, Ont. owners S&r Racing Stable Inc.
Royaltys Dream Continues Strong Form with Prospect Series Win
Royaltys Dream (Royalty For Life–Uneeda Dream) improved on her back-to-back seconds in two Prospect Series starts this season, to win by a length in the second division.
The John and Susan Clark homebred now has as record of 3-2-0 in her six starts this season with $16,085 in earnings for her Caledonia, Ont. owners. She closed in 29.0 for the win with Anthony Haughan driving the Meg Crone trainee.
