HANOVER, ON — Hanover Raceway fans can be forgiven for the sense of dj vu they experienced on Saturday night as they watched three-year-old trotting colt Krakatoa roll in behind the number two on the starting gate and then rocket around the track to a commanding victory.
Aside from a few minor details, like the names of his competitors and the final clocking, Hanover fans have watched the exact same thing unfold three times in the last month. Krakatoa and driver Randy Fritz captured their Dream Of Glory Elimination from Post 2 on July 24, the $100,000 Dream Of Glory Final from Post 2 on July 31, and on Saturday they emerged victorious from their $24,000 Grassroots division from Post 2.

Fan favourite Northern Spark finished second in the fifth Grassroots division, while Lukes Devon was elevated from fourth to third when Laredo Seelster made a late break.
Peterborough, ON resident Bax shares ownership on Lukes Raoule through his Parkhill Stud Farm with Paul Kinmond of Peterborough and Harry Locke of Oshawa, ON. Saturday’s win was the second this season for the son of Ken Warkentin.
