Ontario Racing has released revised schedules for the 2020 Ontario Sires Stakes and Prospect Series.
Events slated for the month of May have been rescheduled for later in the season and some divisions will see changes in their overall schedule to accommodate those adjustments.
The season ending Super Finals remain on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Woodbine-Mohawk Park, but the Grassroots Championships have been pushed back one week to Saturday, Oct. 10, also at Woodbine-Mohawk Park. The Campbellville oval will host the two-year-old Grassroots Semi-Finals on Thursday, Oct. 1 and the three-year-old Grassroots Semi-Finals on Friday, Oct. 2.
The first Ontario Sires Stakes event of the revised 2020 season has the three-year-old pacing fillies squaring off in Grassroots action at Woodbine-Mohawk Park on Friday, June 26. The Gold Series gets under way on Sunday, June 28 with the top three-year-old trotting colts in the province heading to Georgian Downs.
Prospect Series events programmed for the month of May have also been rescheduled. Hanover Raceway will host the first-ever Prospect Series event on Saturday, June 20, welcoming the three-year-old pacing fillies to the Grey County oval. The Prospect Series Finals will now take place on Friday, Sept. 25 at Grand River Raceway.
