CAMPBELLVILLE, ON — After sweeping the top three spots in the $225,276 Goodtimes final two weeks ago, Ontario’s talented three-year-old trotting colts return to Mohawk Racetrack on Friday, June 28 for three Gold Series divisions.

Goodtimes champion Flanagan Memory and driver Chris Christoforou of Campbellville will be aiming to make it two straight from Post 9 in the second race. The pair will line up outside a deeply talented field which includes last year’s Grassroots champion, and a winner of the first Gold leg, Buddy Hally from Post 1; Goodtimes Elimination winner and second runner-up Gotta Secret from Post 3; $414,457 winner Murmur Hanover from Post 4; and last year’s Super Final winner Creampuff Macdaddy from Post 8.

The three-year-old trotting colts will also battle for Gold Series points in Races 1 and 9, with the ninth race featuring Goodtimes elimination winner and first runner-up Toocool Forschool at Post 5.

Making their debut in the Ontario Sires Stakes program on Friday evening are 24 two-year-old pacing colts. Delivering impressive miles in recent qualifiers and two-year-old races, the colts will be looking to make an impression on Mohawk fans in Races 3, 6 and 10.

Among the colts that have already impressed in early season action are Falcon Justice and Cluster Hanover, who battled to a one-two finish in a June 20 contest at Mohawk, stopping the clock at 1:53.1. Guelph resident Paul MacDonell will steer Falcon Justice from Post 8 and Moffat resident Jody Jamieson guides Cluster Hanover from Post 4 in their sixth race rematch.

The three-year-old trotting colts will kick off the Friday evening festivities, going to the post in Mohawk Racetrack’s first race at 7:25 pm.
