Twin B Mayreau and Money Carlo were the winners of the two $100,000 Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Leg 1 Gold Series divisions for 2-year-old pacing fillies on Friday (July 3) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

In race 4, Tyler Jones drove 19-1 Twin B Mayreau (above, Cattlewash—Olivia Mcskywalker) to an impressive 1:50:3 victory in her pari-mutuel debut.

It was single-file racing through the first three quarters as Aceandaten (Doug McNair) led Twin B Mayreau through fractions of :27.3, :55.4 and 1:23.1. In mid-stretch, Jones pulled the pocket and edged past a game Aceandaten to win by three-quarters of a length.

Favoured Twin B Girl Talk (James MacDonald) was third, followed by Lyons Flurry (Louis-Philippe Roy) and Charolais Cattle (Bob McClure) in the field of seven.

Twin B Mayreau paid $40.

Twin B Mayreau, who already has $50,000 on her card, is a Francis Dumouchel trainee owned by Ecurie Csl of Sorel-Tracy, QC and bred by Jenna McNiven of Embro, ON. The pacing filly was sold for $47,000 at the 2025 London Classic Yearling Sale.

In race 6, 1-2 favourite Money Carlo (Bob McClure) was also victorious in her pari-mutuel debut. She defeated the field of six in 1:51.3.

Money Carlo (Bob McClure) won the second $100,000 OSS Gold Leg 1 division for rookie pacing fillies.

Sitting third through the 27.2 opening quarter, McClure had Money Carlo out and on top by the :56 half. Money Carlo also led the field through the 1:24.2 three-quarters. In the stretch, Money Carlo put away a game challenge by Qued Up (McNair) and powered up the inside to win by neck over a late charge from Waves Of Fortune (James MacDonald). Twin B Copacabana (Mark MacDonald) was third, followed by Qued Up and Watchmeparty (Trevor Henry).

Money Carlo, a daughter of Bulldog Hanover out of Shes Some Treasure, was bred by Steve Jones for owner Brad Grant, who purchased the filly for $175,000 U.S. at the 2025 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

Money Carlo paid $3.10 and now has $50,000 in her bank account.
