Welcome to the Ontario Sires Stakes
The Standardbred Ontario Sires Stakes program was established in 1974. The objective of the program is to improve the breed and provide viable incentives for breeders, owners and trainers to breed, buy and race horses in Ontario. To be eligible to the Ontario Sires Stakes program, foals must be sired by a stallion registered and standing in Ontario. The program has exceeded all expectations and has evolved into the leading sires stakes program in North America.
